Luca Ragazzoni, MD, PhD
TEAMS Project Coordinator
Medical doctor, anesthesiologist and post-doctoral research scientist in disaster and humanitarian health at CRIMEDIM – Research Center in Emergency and Disaster Medicine of the Università del Piemonte Orientale, Novara, Italy. Dr. Ragazzoni has been involved in several disaster and humanitarian responses as head of mission or training advisor for United Nations, Governmental and Non-Governmental Organizations. He is a faculty member of the European Master Disaster Medicine (EMDM) and coordinator of different international training programs in disaster and humanitarian health. Coordinator of the implementation of the workplan agreed with WHO within the official framework of CRIMEDIM as WHO Collaborating Center. Author of several full papers published on peer-reviewed, impacted journals, and presented at national and international congresses.

Francesco Della Corte, MD
Founder and currently Director of CRIMEDIM – Research Center in Emergency and Disaster Medicine of the Università del Piemonte Orientale, Novara, Italy. Founder and Course Director of the European Master in Disaster Medicine. Medical doctor, anesthesiologist, currently Full Professor in anesthesia, critical care and emergency medicine at the Università del Piemonte Orientale. He served as Honorary Secretary to the European Society for Emergency Medicine from 1999 to 2006 and visiting professor at the Free University of Brussels. Currently he is actively involved, at academic level, in training medical professionals in disaster and mass casualty incidents management. Author of more than 100 full papers published on peer-reviewed, impacted journals and invited as speaker in more than 300 national and international congresses.
Awsan Bahattab, Scientific coordinator
Medical doctor graduated from the University of Aden, Yemen (2011), and specialized in international health (Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin, 2015). Currently, she is a research fellow at CRIMIDIM and Ph.D. candidate at the International Doctoral Program in Global Health, Humanitarian Aid and Disaster Medicine.
Monica Linty, Administrative Coordinator
Monica graduated in Linguistic and Cultural Mediation (BA, 2012) and in Foreign Languages for International Cooperation (MA, 2014) from University of Turin, Italy and holds a professional Master in International Communication (2015).
Monica is CRIMEDIM’s administrative manager for research, education activities and international operations. She also coordinates CRIMEDIM’s participation in grants, European projects and cooperation agreements.
